Samsung Unlock Code Generator 1: dr.fone – Android SIM Unlock

ITEMS NEEDED

  • Download drfone for Android exe

  • Windows Os

Step by Step To Go With It

1: Regardless of your model, the first step is to go to the dr.fone website, select the ‘More Tools’ tab and choose ‘Android SIM Unlock’.

For Samsung S2, S3, S4, Note 1 to Note 3

2: Connect your Samsung device to your computer using a USB cable. Unfortunately, the only real drawback to dr.fone’s solution is that it only currently runs via a Windows OS. If you use an Apple laptop or desktop you may have to avail of another family member or friend’s Windows-based hardware.
dr.fone’s software should now detect your phone automatically.

3: You now need to put your phone into ‘service’ mode. This is done by dialing one of the following codes: ##3424#, *#0808# or #9090#. One of the 3 will work on your model and you will enter USB Settings / Diagnostic / Service Mode.
Step 4: Once you are in Service Mode you select the DM + MODEM + ADB or UART[*] or CDMA MODEM option, and then hit ‘Unlock’.
dr.fone will now start to unlock your phone, a process that only takes several seconds.

5. To complete the process you will have to take your phone out of ‘Service’ mode and back to its normal every-day mode. Click ‘Restore Mode’ in the dr.fone program and then again dial the code of the 3 (##3424#, *#0808# or #9090#) that originally worked at the beginning of the process. Now select select MTP + ADB or USB[*] or PDA in the menu that will have come up and you are done.
